Things to keep in mind. 1. Updates & Maintenance: At some point you will probably want to update your website, or maybe even do a redesign to give it a fresh new look. Adding Additional Features: Many times a client will just want a basic website to be found online, but after time goes by you may realize how much more could be added to make it better. You might get all kinds of offers to improve or even pretend that you need to do a renewal to get money out of you. Tricking you into losing your domain name to a reseller or a even a competitor. Ignore and delete these emails. 4. Google Rankings: Remember it can take several months for Google to index a new website to be found in search results. Things do not happen over night and an established website will get a higher-ranking than a new one, so be patient and be glad that your on your way to success. Open Google Maps and make sure you're signed in. 2. Zoom in to the map where you want to add your business. 3. In the bottom right, click Send Feedback. 4. Click Add a missing place. 5. Drag the marker where your business is, and add any relevant information. 6. Click Submit. IMPORTANT INFORMATION    Times are always changing and for this reason I have some very important things for you to know about. Google has two new policies that affect your Google rankings if you do not comply. Many other things factor into your search results, so take this into account when making your decision. Google’s Mobile First Policy What is it? It basically means that if your website doesn't have a mobile version Google will eliminate your site when a person searches from a mobile device. This means you will be invisible on small screens, which will give your competition a higher ranking. If this concerns you it should. This change will affect mobile searches in all languages worldwide and will have a significant impact in Google Search results. What happens if you do not comply to this new policy? You may notice lower search rankings. People who use a mobile device will not see your website in Google searches. What can I do about it? If your concerned about this, I can redesign your website to be ranked on any device. Unfortunately, converting your website takes a lot of time, but I can help you to stay current with the times. Contact for prices. Google’s SSL Certificates Policy What is it? This new policy is taking place to ensure that all website’s protect it’s visitors privacy and your privacy as well. This is especially true for websites that contain a store that takes payments, but Google is applying this policy to all websites regardless on if you take visitors personal information or not. Be reassured that if your website is ever hacked I always have two forms of back-up running at all times so if the worst does happen I can fix it. What happens if you do not comply to this new policy? You may notice lower search rankings and you may loose visitors who do not trust your website’s security. What can I do about it?
