Step #2 Domain Name Registration & Matching Email Domain Name Registry is required, unless you already have it. Prices vary depending on the type that you need, so we may request more if needed. Your domain and email account both have a yearly fee to keep it current. A domain name is the name you pick for your website address. For example my domain name is YourDesignsOnline, which gives me the website address of www.YourDesignsOnline.com A Matching Email Address is an email address that ends with @yourdomain.com.
Step #3 Website Hosting Hosting is required, unless you already have it. Prices vary depending on the type that you need, so we may request more if needed. Hosting is a service used to store your website files that are required to be accessible online. For example the content on a website such as text and photos need to be stored on a hosting service in order for the website to bring up the content when a website is loaded.
Step #4 Types of Pages The more pages you include on your website, the more information you can share with your customers or visitors. This is one of those things where you get what you pay for, which is great because you only pay for what you want. You can always add more pages later, but remember we will charge an update fee each time you want to make a change after the initial set up. *We will need a write up that can be copied and pasted for some pages. TIP: If you need more than one page check mark it, then change the quantity, then add it to the bag separately. For example: If you need 4 custom pages. 1. Check mark the custom page option 2. Change the quantity to 4 3. Add it to the cart 4. Go back and add any other pages you need as well.
Step #5 Website Features Features bring your website to life! The more website features you choose for your website the more elaborate your page will be. This is one of those things where you get what you pay for, which is great because you only pay for what you want. Passwords will be requested, if the feature requires it for set-up. Definition of Embed or Embedded: The placement of an external application or interactive content on a website page that is often updated automatically or by a person using a third party service. TIP: If you need more than one slide-show check mark it, then change the quantity, then add it to the bag separately. For example: If you need 4 slide-shows. 1. Check mark the slide-show option 2. Change the quantity to 4 3. Add it to the cart 4. Go back and add any other features you need as well.
Step #6 Photo Package Photo Packages: If you have added a Photo Feature, Gallery Page or Photo Page it does not include unlimited photos. In order to manage the over-whelming amount of time it takes to import, organize and do basic editing on many photos, we offer increments to determine the amount that you are charged. Basic Photo editing includes cropping, straightening and other routine adjustments to photos. Photos managed by the client such as embedded Facebook albums, Online albums, or Store product photos (which are often unlimited) do not need to be included in this count and do not need an additional charge. Store product photos are managed in the “Store Shopping Cart Plan” shown. Photo's must all be submitted at one time by flash-drive or CD. Email or online service such as Drop Box is only permitted as long as the photos can be downloaded in one batch and not 1-by-1. No discounts are provided for extra quantity of photos, for the reason that whether a few photos or many photos are added, the amount of time to process them is the same per photo.
Step #7 Store Shopping Cart Plan Requires purchase of "Store / Product Page" under "Types of Pages." Store rates will be paid by the client to a 3rd party (not Your Designs Online) for this online service by the month or year. This fee is for the initial account set-up and the first months payment. Each product includes options such as sizes, color etc... and is not included in your product limit. This service also includes: inventory tracking, invoicing, automatic customized emails, print invoices, order status, tracking info, coupons and discounts, iPhone App., social tools, multi language, multi currency, save favorite products. You can also configure shipping, payment or tax settings. Using your store code you can also display your store in a Facebook tab. There are No credit card fees through our shopping cart system. Your monthly rate will stay the same. Your store will be set up by the web designer, but entering products will be the responsibility of the client. Entering products includes an account password to edit and add products with text and uploading product photos. Set up is easy for the average computer user to use and maintain. NOTE: All following plan payments will be made directly to the service. Product entry and maintenance will be the responsibly of the client to avoid inventory or pricing errors.
